A graduate of Midtown Yoga's 2014, 200-hr Vinyasa teacher training, Hailey comes to us with fresh eyes and a contagious, enthusiastic energy.
Yoga peeked an interest to her in 2010 when she was working as a pole fitness instructor. Having a gymnastic background, she was naturally drawn to the balance of strength and flexibility found in the practice. However, her interest for yoga became a love for yoga when Hailey started to notice the healing qualities of yoga in her body and mind. Prior to her focus on pole fitness, she played rugby for 7 years.

"Yoga changed my life physically. I had a lot of wear and tear after playing a high impact sport for so many years. I came to yoga searching for an increase in flexibility for pole fitness. In addition to, I found a way to gently strengthen, repair, and rebuild my stabilizer muscles that I had damaged and neglected for so long. I am stronger than ever! I'd also like to add, Teacher training was such an eye opening experience for me. I experienced the physical benefits of yoga on my own but getting my RYT-200 showed me how to find balance in my body, mind,and spirit; on and off the mat. That is what yoga is all about and I am so excited to share this experience with everyone."

Hailey instructs the following:
  • Vinyasa
  • Vinyasa means "flow" or merging movement with the breath. These classes focus on breathing and seek to move students through a sequence of postures as the breath flows in and out. Using this breath, heat or "tapas" warms the body allowing the practitioner to move deeper into postures and eventually deeper into their own personal practice. Vinyasa yoga increases strength, stamina and flexibility while calming and steadying the mind. This class style is inherently diverse and sequencing will vary with each instructor's personal flavor.
